MUSICIAN / DJ / PRODUCER

Satsi’s musical journey began in Isla Vista, California, in the early 1990s, within the hard rock, punk, and jam band scene. After discovering underground electronic music, he moved to the Bay Area to pursue music and began DJing in the late 1990s. His musical path has moved through house and breaks, with a focus on Drum & Bass since 2014.

His 2023 DnB release “Sleepwalking” was a collaboration with Bartek Industries on Momentive Recordings.

VJ / VISUAL ART / FILMMAKER

Satsi has been creating live visuals since 1997. His VJ practice began with Dimension 7, a San Francisco collective that helped shape his approach to live image-making in dance spaces. His first residency began with Wicked in San Francisco in the late 1990s, followed by residencies with other events and collectives throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

Nearly three decades later, his work continues to explore the relationship between image, sound, movement, and atmosphere. His visual language is vivid, precise, and responsive, with a particular sensitivity to color, timing, and the energy of a room. He has performed alongside internationally recognized artists, local innovators, and countless independent voices across clubs, concert halls, festivals, Burning Man, and underground events.
